Burning of leaves or debris on city streets, sidewalks, drains, and/or ditches is considered a nuisance. All burning must be in an open container or a confined area. It is to be controlled at all times. Water must be present at the burn site and all fires must be attended at all times by an adult 18 years of age or older. This section shall not override fire bans by the Forestry Department. Any leaves and debris not burned must be bagged and not piled loosely on streets, sidewalks, ditches, or drains, or adjoining streets.
