Prior to entering upon the duties of the position, the CABC shall take the oath prescribed in Section 228 of the Constitution of the Commonwealth, and he/she shall execute a bond with a good corporate surety in the penal sum of not less than $ 1,000. Any city employee under the supervision of the CABC shall execute a similar bond in such penal sum as the CABC may deem necessary.
