For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CITY COUNCIL. The elected officers of the City of Earlington, Kentucky.
INDIVIDUAL MOBILE HOME LOT. A parcel or lot of land recorded in the County Clerk's office, having an area sufficient for the placement of a mobile home, and providing facilities for long-term occupancy.
MOBILE HOME. A vehicular portable structure built on a chassis of which wheels are an intrinsic part, designed for permanent occupancy, and is provided with a toilet, bathtub, or shower. A dwelling unit.
MOBILE HOME ANCHOR OR TIE-DOWN. Devices provided to prevent movement, such as uplift, shifting, or overturning of the mobile home. These devices may be provided by eyelets imbedded in concrete with adequate anchor plates or hooks, or other suitable means. Anchors and tie-downs shall be designed to be an intrinsic part of the mobile home stand.
(1) MOBILE HOME FRAME ANCHOR. A mobile home anchor specifically designed to be attached to the frame of the mobile home.
(2) MOBILE HOME TIE-DOWN. A cable or other device designed to be placed over the top of a mobile home and fastened to an anchor. The tie-down is designed to prevent uplift and lateral movement of the mobile home.
MOBILE HOME PERMIT. The allowance of a mobile home in a specific zoning district upon the granting of a permit by the City Council.
MOBILE HOME STAND. The part of an individual mobile home lot constructed out of concrete, asphalt, or gravel and reserved for the placement of a mobile home.
PLANNING COMMISSION. The County Joint Planning Commission.
