(A) Generally. Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $100 for each offense, or the cost to the city to abate the public nuisance, or both. Each day's continued violation shall constitute a separate offense.
(B) Civil penalty. Any owners who fail to comply with a final order of the Code Enforcement Board shall, in addition to any other penalty prescribed herein, be subject to a civil penalty of $50 per day until the nuisance is abated by the owners or the city.
(C) Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter may also be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined an amount not exceeding $500 and/or be imprisoned in the county detention center for a period not exceeding 30 days.
(D) After being given due notice by the Code Enforcement Officer or any of his or her subordinates to correct any violation of this chapter as relating to nuisances and/or inoperative motor vehicles, any and all person(s) in violation will be subject to having the city's employees upon their property to correct any violation that is not corrected when directed to do so as outlined in this chapter at the following rates:
(1) City vehicles and/or equipment: $250 per hour per vehicle; and
(2) City employees: $75 per hour per employee.
