§ 90.15 DOGS RUNNING AT LARGE.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for the owner or keeper of any dog, either licensed or unlicensed, to allow that dog to be at large and not restrained by a leash or confined in an enclosure.
   (B)   Any dog found at large or not restrained by a leash or confined in an enclosure shall be subject to seizure and impoundment by any officer authorized to so seize or impound dogs as provided in KRS Ch. 258. Any dog so seized or impounded shall be disposed of as provided in KRS Ch. 258.
   (C)   It shall be the duty of every police officer to obtain the name of the owner or keeper of any dog seen running at large, if this is possible, and to obtain a summons or warrant for the owner's or keeper's appearance in the appropriate court.
