In the event any property owner, or occupant in possession or control of lands, including railroad lands within the City, fails to cut or destroy such weeds, vines, brush, bushes, non-purposefully planted trees less than three inches in diameter, and noxious weeds as defined by the Code of Iowa, or other growth as above described, the weed official shall destroy such weeds, vines, brush, bushes, non-purposefully planted trees less than three inches in diameter, and noxious weeds as defined by the Code of Iowa, or other growth as above described by cutting or such other method including chemical control, as may be necessary to make such destruction.
