Drainage permits shall be obtained for land alteration activity accomplished by or for a governmental unit and inspections as specified in this section shall be allowed. Fees shall be required as specified in Section 7-25, except for the following:
(1) Land alteration activity for which a fee cannot be charged by the municipality because of federal or state law, or
(2) Land alteration activity accomplished by an employee or contractor of the Civil Town of Dyer in the course of governmental, as opposed to proprietary, duties. (Ord. No. 92-4, § 21, 2-10-92)
