Sec. 7-13 Duration of Permit.
If the land alteration for which a permit has been issued has not commenced within one (1) year from the date of its issuance, the permit shall expire and no longer be of any force or effect; provided, however, the Board, for good cause, shown in writing, may extend the validity of the permit for an additional period of time not to exceed one (1) year. If the drainage activity is only partially completed and no substantial land alteration has occurred on the site for a period of one (1) year, the permit shall expire and no longer be of any force or effect; provided, however, the Board may, for good cause, shown in writing, extend the validity of such permit to allow completion of the work.
