No person shall be permitted to discharge or fire any air rifle, air gun, air pistol, spring rifle, spring gun, sling shot, or any similar device which is calculated or intended to propel or project a bullet, pellet, arrow, or other projectile or missile upon any public way or street within the town limits or to discharge or fire such device as to have the said bullet, pellet, arrow, projectile or missile travel any space used as a public way in said Town of Dyer, Lake County, Indiana.
