(a) Taxicab includes all self-propelled vehicles carrying passengers for hire and having intended seating capacity for six (6) persons or less.
(b) Taximeter includes any instrument or fare-registered device attached to a taxicab and designed to register the distance traveled by the vehicle, to record the time the vehicle is in waiting, and to indicate the fare to be charged. (Ord. No. 416, § 6, 12-8-59; Am. Ord. No. 2022-02, § 3, 1-13-22)
