Sec. 3-31 Right To Inspect And Copy.
   Any person, during regular business hours of the Town, may inspect and copy public records of the Town of Dyer. Any inspection and copying shall be done pursuant to the provisions of between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except as provided by Indiana Code, §§ 5-14-3-1 through 5-14-3-10 as amended. A request for inspection and/or copying shall be in writing and shall identify with reasonable particularity the record being requested. Neither the Town nor any of its employees or agents may deny or interfere with the exercise of the right of access to public records except as authorized by statute. When there is a request is to only view public records, a Town employee shall be present at all times while the public record is being viewed. (Ord. No. 84-29, § 2, 7-10-84; Am. Ord.
