The Town Clerk-Treasurer is the Clerk of the Town Council. Whenever there is a tie vote for any particular issue, the Clerk-Treasurer is an ex-officio member for the purpose of casting the deciding vote to break a tie.

8 I.C., § 36-5-28, authorizes the Clerk-Treasurer to vote in case of a tie.
