The following owners and occupants of property are exempt from the requirements of this Article:
(a) Those regularly engaged in the business of selling, renting, or transporting outdoor storage containers;
(b) Any organized non-profit corporation or religious institution;
(c) Anyone who, upon written petition to the Town Council and a showing that compliance will present financial hardship, receives a waiver of the requirements of this Article by the Town Council.
All exempt owners or occupants must obtain a certificate of exemption from the office of the Clerk-Treasurer upon completion of an application and providing proof of fulfillment of the criteria for exemption under this Section.
This Article becomes effective immediately, but property occupants currently in violation of this Article have until December 31, 2022, to bring the property they occupy into compliance with its provision. (Ord. No. 2022-12, § 6, 7-20-22)
