Before any permit is granted for the installation, alteration, or repair of any electrical wiring, devices, or equipment, the person making application for such permit shall pay to the city a fee in the amount set by the city for each 100 amperes of main service and each branch circuit for each inspection trip and for new work or addition to old work. All fees provided for in this subchapter shall be paid to the City Clerk for deposit to the account of the city.
