§ 150.008 REMOVAL OR DEMOLITION OF BUILDING; PERMIT AND FEE.
   (A)   No building or structure may be removed, moved upon a city street, or demolished without there having been obtained from the office of Planning and Community Development a permit authorizing the moving, removal, or demolition. Any application for moving or removing of a structure or building shall be along a designated route, which route shall be designated by the Building Inspector. No building or structure shall be moved over, across, or upon any street or alley within the city if the structure or building is more than 21 feet above the ground, street, or alley level over which it is being moved. When an application is received for a permit to move a building or structure over, across, or upon any street or alley of the city, the City Clerk, City Building Inspector, or other designated agent, employee, or officer of the city must make a personal inspection of the structure or building and the moving apparatus to be used and determine that the height restrictions set out herein will not be violated before a permit shall be issued.
   (B)   For a permit for the removal of a building or structure to a new location within or outside of the same lot, the fee shall be as set by the City Council by motion or resolution. For a permit for the demolition of a building or structure, the fee shall be as set by the Council by motion or resolution.
