§ 113.055 DRILLING OPERATIONS; EQUIPMENT.
   (A)   All drilling, reentry, and operations at any well performed under this chapter shall be conducted in accordance with the best practices of the reasonably prudent operator. All casing, valves and blowout preventers, drilling fluid, tubing, bradenhead, Christmas tree, and wellhead connections shall be of the type and quality consistent with the best practices of such reasonably prudent operator. Setting and cementing casing and running drill stem tests shall be performed in a manner and at a time consistent with the best practices of such reasonably prudent operator. Any permittee under this chapter shall observe and follow the recommendations or regulations of the American Petroleum Institute and the Corporate Commission, except in those instances that are specifically addressed by this chapter. A copy of all logs associated with the surface casing shall be filed with the Oil and Gas Inspector.
   (B)   H2S operations require special metals, equipment and procedures as outlined by API RP 49, Recommended Practice for Drilling and Well Servicing Operations Involving Hydrogen Sulfide, 2nd Edition/May 2001/Reaffirmed, March 2007 and any other applicable state or federal government standard (such as OSHA, EPA).
