§ 97.008 CUTTING CURBS OR CITY STREETS.
   No person, other than a city employee or a contractor, after issuance of a city permit, shall be permitted to intentionally effect a cutting of the curbs or city streets or bore (tunnel) thereunder. The cost for issuing a permit shall be as set by the City Council by motion or resolution. Cutting or boring prior to receipt of a permit shall be punishable by a fine in the Municipal Court, and in addition thereto, the person or entity making the cut or bore shall pay an administrative fee, as set by the City Council by resolution, to the city plus costs of all materials, labor, and equipment used in rectifying the violation.
