§ 90.35 COMPOSITION, APPOINTMENT, AND TERMS OF MEMBERS.
   The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board shall consist of seven members to be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Five members shall be appointed to five-year overlapping terms and serve until their successors have been appointed and have taken office. All members shall reside within the boundaries of the city, the school district or districts that overlap the city boundaries, or within ten miles of the city or school district. One of the members shall be appointed to represent the organized sports leagues. The sixth member shall be the City Manager or her or his designee, who shall serve as a permanent member of the Board. The seventh member shall be appointed by the City Council from among its own members and shall serve an indefinite term; however, such term shall automatically end when the City Council member ceases to serve on the City Council. The term of one of the five members appointed to overlapping terms shall expire in June of each year. The member representing the organized sports leagues shall serve a two-year term that shall expire in June of every odd-numbered year. The Director of Parks and Recreation shall serve as a non-voting ex-officio member.
