(A) The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board shall consist of seven members, five of which shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council.
(B) Five members shall be appointed to five-year overlapping terms and serve until their successors have been appointed and have taken office.
(C) The sixth member shall be the City Manager or his or her designee, who shall serve as a permanent member of the Board. The seventh member shall be appointed by the City Council from among its own members and shall serve an indefinite term; however, such term shall automatically end when the City Council member ceases to serve on the City Council.
(D) The term of one of the five members appointed to overlapping terms shall expire in June of each year.
