16-201: DEFINITION:

The term "vehicle for hire" as used in this chapter shall be construed to mean any and all motor vehicles used by any person, firm, or corporation within the city for the purpose of conducting a general taxicab business for the purpose of realizing a profit from the operation of the vehicles. (Prior code § 21-1)
