A. When any street, alley, sidewalk or the public ground has been cut or opened for any purpose the permit holder shall refill and repair the cut or opening using sand placed in the opening in layers or lifts not exceeding six inches (6") in depth and tamped following each layer or lift to the surface.
B. All surfaces shall be restored with similar materials and workmanship as originally existed prior to the cut or opening and subject to the approval of the city code enforcement official or his designated representative.
C. All dirt and other materials taken from the cut or opening shall be hauled away by the permit holder. (Prior code § 19-22)
