Any person who shall unnecessarily obstruct any sidewalk or any street or alley, walk or public ground within the city with any boxes, barrels, vehicles, animals, lumber, wood or any material or structure whatever, or shall ride or drive over and upon any sidewalk of the city, or dig any hole in the same, shall be deemed guilty of an offense and be punished as herein provided.
