A. Upon receipt of a request to proceed the manager shall cause the request to be placed before the council/authority for hearing. Notice of hearing shall be provided to the owners of all properties within the area of benefit by first class mail not less than fifteen (15) days prior to such hearing.
B. The council/authority hearing shall present the proposed extension and information regarding the proportional benefit attributed to benefiting properties.
C. Following the hearing the council/authority may approve or deny proceeding with the requested minor extension, or direct further consideration or amendment of the request. (Ord. 1354, 8-9-1994)
