A. There is a cemetery department, the head of which shall be the cemetery superintendent, appointed by the city manager for an indefinite term. The superintendent shall supervise and manage the cemetery department.
B. It is the duty of the cemetery department to have charge of, control, maintain and improve the city cemeteries. (Ord. 1464, 7-14-1998)
