A. It is unlawful for any person to operate a food service establishment or a restaurant within the city limits that does not possess both a current license from the Oklahoma State Department of Health and a current food service establishment permit issued by the City Clerk. Only persons who comply with the requirements of this chapter shall be entitled to receive and retain such a permit.
B. Every person desiring a permit to operate a food service establishment or a restaurant in the City shall make application for a Certificate of Compliance to the Department of Community Development. Upon approval of the application by the Department of Community Development, a permit may be issuedby the City Clerk. The permit fee shall be as set by the City Council.
C. Permits shall be conspicuously posted at all times and are not transferable to another person, entity, or location. (Ord. 1222, 3-27-1984; amd. Ord. 1827, 3-8-2022)
