A. Effective January 1, 2011, the city of Duncan, Oklahoma, is authorized to increase the base tariff rate for all telephone landlines within the city of Duncan, Oklahoma, to fifteen percent (15%). The city of Duncan is also authorized to collect the fee from AT&T, or other landline provider and to use said fees as prescribed by law.
B. Effective January 1, 2011, the city of Duncan, Oklahoma, is authorized to charge a fee of fifty cents ($0.50) per month per wireless phone subscribers for all persons residing within the city limits of Duncan, Oklahoma, and authorizing the billing and collection of the fees from all wireless service providers for payment to ASCOG or other authorized agency for disbursement to the city of Duncan, Oklahoma. C. Effective January 1, 2016, the city of Duncan, Oklahoma, is authorized to charge an emergency service fee of fifty cents ($0.50) per month per user of an interconnected voice over internet protocol (VoIP) service. (Ord. 1744, 11-10-2015)
