A. After conviction and sentence, the judge may suspend sentence, in accordance with the provisions of, and subject to the conditions and procedures imposed by 11 Oklahoma Statutes sections 27-123 and 27-124.
B. The municipal judge may, upon a verdict or plea of guilty, but before a judgment of guilt, without entering a judgment of guilt and with the consent of the defendant, suspend or defer further proceedings for a period of up to one year on such terms and conditions deemed appropriate. Upon a violation of the conditions of probation or suspension, the municipal judge may enter a judgment of guilt and proceed in accordance with this chapter. (Prior code § 12-24)
