A. Minimum Construction Standards: Minimum standards for construction of water wells are contained in OWRB regulations chapter 35, subchapter 7 of the well driller and pump installer licensing act, as authorized by 82 Oklahoma Statutes chapter 11.
B. Abandonment Of Wells: Permanently abandoned wells shall be filled with cement grout or concrete. Abandoned wells shall not be used for the disposal of wastewater, septic tank effluent or other wastes.
C. Screening: Water wells shall provide filtration to minimize the distribution of undesirable materials through the system. (Ord. 1737, 4-28-2015)
