A. The Code enforcement official or the Appeals Board may revoke any City issued building contractor's registration certificate if the holder of such registration certificate shows incompetency or lack of knowledge in matters relevant to such certificate, fails to perform normal business obligations or if such certificate was obtained by fraud. The filing of an appeal to such revocation by the Code enforcement official shall act as a stop to all actions regarding such revocation until such time as the appeal action is completed.
B. Certificates revoked by the Code enforcement official that are appealed to the Appeals Board shall be handled by the Board as if the initial action was taken by the Board, that being a review held, and action for reinstatement of certificate or revocation of certificate. (Ord. 1778, 5-22-2018)
