Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of an offense, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as provided in section 1-108 of this code. The owner or owners of any premises or part thereof where anything in violation of this chapter shall exist, and any builder, contractor, agent, person, firm or corporation employed in connection therewith, and who may have participated or aided in such violation, shall be guilty of a separate offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as provided in section 1-108 of this code.
