The mayor or any councilman may not receive any compensation as such for any services rendered the city other than actual expenses. (1985 Code)
A. The mayor and city councilmen shall provide bonds for the faithful performance of their respective duties, payable to the city in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) each and the city shall pay the premiums on such bonds. (Ord. 1674, 2-10-2009)
