The international residential code (IRC), the latest edition thereof, and any amendments thereto, as recommended by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted as the housing code of the city for the control of buildings and structures as therein provided. Each and all of the regulations of the residential code are hereby referred to, adopted, incorporated and made a part of this code by reference, as if fully set out in this code, with the additions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in this chapter.
