A. In the instance of failure or refusal on the part of a plumber to rectify or change such plumbing so as to cause same to comply with the plumbing rules and regulations, then, after three (3) days from the time notice was given, the owner of any house or premises may have recourse against the principal and sureties on the bond required to be kept on file with the Oklahoma state department of health.
B. In the instance of failure of any person(s) to comply with a notice to correct, rectify or change plumbing so as to cause same to comply with the plumbing rules and regulations, following notice from the plumbing inspector, or in the instance of violation of any provision of the plumbing code or the provisions of this chapter, the plumbing inspector may initiate action for violation of the plumbing rules and regulations in municipal court. Each day that such failure to comply or violation is permitted to continue may constitute a separate offense. Any person found guilty of a violation of the plumbing rules and regulations may be punished in accordance with the provisions of section 1-108 of this code. (Ord. 1405, 7-31-1996)
