5-306: ADDITIONS, INSERTIONS AND CHANGES TO PLUMBING CODE:
   A.   The following sections are hereby revised as follows:
      1.   Section 100.1 (page 1) insert "the city of Duncan";
      2.   Section 106.5.2 (page 4) insert "as set by the city";
      3.   Section 106.5.3 (page 4) insert "as determined by the plumbing inspector";
      4.   Section 108.4 (page 6) insert "offense and punished as provided in section 1-108 of the city's code of ordinances";
      5.   Section 108.5 (page 6) insert "as provided in section 1-108 of the city's code of ordinances"; and
      6.   Section 306.6.1 (page 14) insert "one foot" or as otherwise set by the city.
   B.   The provisions of the plumbing code permitting the use of asbestos cement pipe for building sewer or building to septic tank or building storm drain or disposal fields or stack vents shall not be applicable nor allowed in the city.
   C.   All pipes leaving the curb cock and used for connecting buildings with the city water system shall be laid underground and at least twelve inches (12") below the established grade. Such pipes shall be of galvanized, type K copper pipe or PVC schedule 40 not less than three-fourths inch (3/4") in diameter for underground and type L, copper pipe for general aboveground work.
   D.   For sewers, three inch (3") minimum size PVC schedule 40 or cast iron shall be used in service lines from the sewer to any building. (Ord. 1405, 7-31-1996)
   E.   There shall be a backwater valve installed on all new or replacement sanitary sewer service lines near the junction of the building drain and the building sewer. (Ord. 1595, 1-25-2005)
