It is the duty of the plumbing inspector to inspect all plumbing and sewer lines in the city. The plumbing inspector may, as far as necessary in the performance of his duties, enter in the daytime, any building or premises inside the corporate limits of the city. It is the duty of the plumbing inspector to keep a daily record of all his work, including all notices and applications received, permits and certificates granted, and all violations of this chapter and other matters which may pertain thereto.
