For the purpose of this Chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning:
DRIVER'S LICENSE: | A valid license to operate a motor vehicle issued by Oklahoma or any other state. |
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: | Liability insurance coverage on a golf cart in an amount not less than required by Oklahoma law for motor vehicles operated on public highways in the State of Oklahoma. |
GOLF CART: | A vehicle with four wheels originally designed for operation on a golf course and powered by a battery or internal combustion motor. |
POLICE OPERATED UTILITY VEHICLE: | A vehicle powered by an internal combustion engine, manufactured and used exclusively for off-highway use, equipped with seating for two or more people and a steering wheel, traveling on four or more wheels, and operated by the Duncan Police Department.
