Any person, firm, or corporation violating any provision of this part, shall be deemed guilty of an offense, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined as provided in section 1-108 of this code. The owner or owners of any buildings or premises or part thereof, where anything in violation of this part shall be placed or shall exist, and any architect, builder, contractor, agent, person, firm, or corporation employed in connection therewith, and who may have participated or aided in such violation shall be guilty of a separate offense and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as provided in section 1-108 of this code.
