A. Minimum service tap shall be a three-fourths inch (3/4") tap. Where to be installed on the opposite side of a street from the water main, a single three-fourths inch (3/4"), or larger, tap shall be installed under the roadbed for each lot or tract prior to surfacing the roadway.
B. Where existing streets are to be crossed, taps shall be bored underneath the street in all possible instances. (Res. 901, 5-10-1977)
