A. Any violation of the provisions of this part is punishable by a fine as prescribed in section 1-108 of this code. (Ord. 1510, 8-8-2000)
B. The minimum fine in the municipal court for the offenses enumerated in this section shall be as follows:
1. Permitting a dog or cat to run at large as provided in section 4-301 of this part: Fifty dollars ($50.00) plus costs;
2. Permitting an unvaccinated dog, cat or ferret to run at large as provided in section 4-420 of this part: Two hundred dollars ($200.00) plus costs;
3. Failing to spay or neuter a dog or cat as provided in section 4-402 of this part:
a. First offense: Fifty dollars ($50.00) plus costs;
b. Second offense: One hundred dollars ($100.00) plus costs; and
c. Each subsequent offense: Two hundred dollars ($200.00) plus costs. (Ord. 1510, 8-8-2000; amd. 2015 Code)
