A. It is the intent of the Highway 7 corridor overlay district to prescribe additional regulations designed to protect and ensure compatible land uses, rational infrastructure and public service development and a visually appealing and scenic quality of development along the Highway 7 corridor through the city in order to attract future residents, business and industry. The specific regulations of any underlying zoning district or districts remain applicable, except as specifically modified by this overlay district, in which case the provisions of this overlay district shall control.
B. Unless otherwise specified in the ordinance creating the Highway 7 corridor overlay district, when any lot is partially located within the overlay district, the remainder of the lot shall not be subject to the provisions of this section. (Ord. 1559, 2-25-2003)
