12-303: ADVERTISING SIGNS OR STRUCTURES:
   A.   Accessory signs (signs relating to businesses or goods sold on the property on which they are located) shall not be greater in area than four hundred (400) square feet, provided, that for every five feet (5') of height above twenty feet (20'), the sign shall be reduced in area by one hundred (100) square feet. Such signs shall not be located closer than twenty five feet (25') to the front property line of any street right of way. Provided, further, that the signs shall have no moving or flashing lights or colors if located within two hundred fifty feet (250') of and viewable from any residential district.
   B.   Temporary advertising signs no greater than twenty (20) square feet in area advertising the sale of the land or homes on which the signs are located, so long as the signs be forthwith removed upon the sale and conveyance of the land or homes. (Prior code § 16-25)
