4-411: CONFINEMENT OF FEMALE DOGS AND CATS IN HEAT:
   A.   The owner of any female dog or female cat in heat shall keep said animal confined in a building or secure enclosure, or in a veterinary hospital or boarding kennel, in such a manner that the female dog or cat cannot come into contact with another dog or cat except for planned breeding purposes, in which event such dogs or cats shall be confined in some enclosed place entirely out of the public view.
   B.   Any person who violates this provision, either wilfully or through failure to exercise due care and control, is subject to the penalties prescribed in section 1-108 of this code. (Ord. 1510, 8-8-2000)
