9-1-2: INTEREST OF PUBLIC WELFARE:
Any proposed subdivision and its ultimate use shall be in the best interests of the public welfare and the neighborhood development of the area concerned. The planning office shall notify, by mailing, all adjacent landowners within designated distance as established by the planning director for each subdivision proposal. (1998 Code § 16.04.020)
