A. It shall be the duty of the county sheriff to cause to be erected, in conformity with the manual and specifications of the state highway commission, traffic control devices and traffic signs to regulate, warn and guide traffic on the roads and highways of this county.
B. It is unlawful for any person to deface, destroy, demolish or interfere with any traffic control device or traffic sign installed for the purpose of directing or regulating traffic in this county. (1998 Code § 10.04.020)
