A. No person shall drive a vehicle on a county road at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions, and having regard to the actual and potential hazard then existing.
B. Where no special hazard exists, the speed limit on all county roads shall be forty (40) miles per hour, unless otherwise posted. Any speed in excess of the posted limit shall be prima facie evidence that the speed is not reasonable or prudent and that it is unlawful. (1998 Code § 10.04.010)
