§ 33.03 NON-SUPERSESSION OF POWERS OF SHERIFF, OTHER POWERS.
   (A)   Nothing in this chapter is intended to supersede or limit any statutory powers of the County Sheriff to determine, respond to, and provide for the control of public disasters and other emergency situations under the provisions of I.C. 10-16-7-9 and 10-16-7-10, as amended.
   (B)   Nothing in this chapter is intended to supersede or delimit the powers of any political subdivision under I.C. 10-14-3 to adopt and implement emergency plans, and promulgate and enforce special emergency regulations and procedures in the advent of an actual emergency affecting a political subdivison.
   (C)   However, pursuant to I.C. 10-14-3-22, such regulations and procedures, as promulgated by the political subdivision, may not be inconsistent with the county emergency regulations and procedures.
