§ 31.02 PURCHASING AGENTS.

   (A)   The Board of Commissioners hereby determines that it is the purchasing agency for the county.

   (B)   The Board of Commissioners hereby designates the following persons to serve as purchasing agents for the county:

      (1)   Each elected county official;

      (2)   Each circuit, superior, and County Court Judge;

      (3)   The County Highway Superintendent;

      (4)   The Courthouse Custodian;

      (5)   The County Health Department Administrative Director;

      (6)   The County Communications Director;

      (7)   The County EMS Director; and

      (8)   Other county employees as are designated by this Board from time to time, in writing.

   (C)   No purchasing agent for the county shall be entitled, or empowered, to make any single purchase, or engage in any service, which exceeds $2,500 without the expressed authority of the purchasing agency.
