(A) The County Solid Waste Management District personnel may assist other public, or private, sector entities in the collection of household mercury-containing products.
(B) The District shall not engage in the collecting of such items when a private sector entity in the county area offers collection services for like items.
(C) The District shall not store such mercury-containing items for an extended period, but shall deliver the same, as soon as possible, to a qualified collector and processor thereof.
(D) Providing such service using District personnel will benefit the public health, welfare, and safety of the residents of the county.
