All dogs which have not been duly licensed as required by KRS 258.135 and registered with the City Clerk/Treasurer; and all dogs running loose upon the streets, public ways, public alleys, or any property other than the property of the owner shall be taken into custody by the Grant County Dog Warden or by any peace officer and confined in the Grant County Dog Pound and if not claimed by the owner within ten days shall be disposed of by the Grant County Dog Warden as he may see fit.
