The applicant(s) for a building sewer permit shall notify the Superintendent of the Sewer Department and the Codes Enforcement Officer when the building sewer is ready for inspection, testing, and connection to the public sewer. The connection, testing, and inspection shall be made under the supervision of the Superintendent of the Sewer Department and the Codes Enforcement Officer or the authorized representatives of each of them. All connections shall be made gas-tight and water-tight and verified by proper testing.
